Republican freeholders support GOP ticket in Lower

 LOWER TOWNSHIP – Republican county freeholders have endorsed the Republican ticket of Erik Simonsen for mayor, Kevin Lare for deputy mayor and Walt Craig for Ward 2 council.

Freeholder director Jerry Thornton, vice director Sue Sheppard and freeholders Len Desiderio, Will Morey and Kristine Gabor offered their support to the ticket, saying they are the right team to work with them on matters that are important to residents of Lower Township.

The Republicans are running against a independent slate of candidates headed by incumbent mayor Michael Beck, with Norris Clark for deputy mayor and Jim Neville for Ward 2 council. The election is Nov. 6.
