Man arrested after pulling knife on couple

LOWER TOWNSHIP – Police have arrested a man who allegedly pulled a knife on a couple while they were walking their dog in the area of Bay and Sandalwood Road in the Villas around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8.
Timothy Donnelly, 25 year, of West Delaware Parkway, has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes, Possession of CDS and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
Donnelly fled the area in a Buick Century, which was promptly located and stopped by police, according to police. When stopped, a silver knife, a police baton and CDS were located in the vehicle, police said.
He was with a woman who was not charged.
Judge Thomas Hillegass set bail at $50,000 cash. In default of bail, Donnelly was transported to the Cape May County Correction Center.
