John Linnington named MAC Volunteer of the Month

John Linnington was named MAC’s Volunteer of the Month for December.

CAPE MAY – John L. Linnington, III, of Rio Grande, is the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Volunteer of the Month for December.

MAC director Michael Zuckerman nominated Linnington for his assistance issuing invitations for a realtors' luncheon on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Carriage House Café & Tearoom at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. Realtors learned about tours and activities that MAC offers at the luncheon so they might share that information with their clients who come to Cape May to rent or purchase real estate. Dozens of realtors came to the estate for the event.

"We are extremely grateful to John for helping us reach every realtor in the county," said Zuckerman. "It is thanks to his assistance, his contacts, that our luncheon was a success." Linnington is vice president of marketing for the Title Company of New Jersey, with offices in North Cape May, and has been with the company for 30 years. He has deep ties to the banking, realtor and legal community in Cape May, Ocean and Atlantic counties, and knows most realtors in Cape May County personally, he said, some of whom are now second generation.

MAC benefits from the expertise of members of the community in a variety of ways. The Volunteer of the Month award is given to a person who demonstrates a high degree of dedication, commitment and constancy to MAC's volunteer program.
