Students place third in Christmas parade

Cape May City Elementary students were recently invited to ride on the Cape May City float in the West Cape May Christmas Parade

WEST CAPE MAY – Cape May City Elementary students were recently invited to ride on the Cape May City float in the West Cape May Christmas Parade.

The float won third prize. The students and teachers who participated are shown here being presented a trophy by Robert Smith, director of Cape May Public Works.

Mayor Ed Mahaney provided 125 pounds of red, green, and white mints. Tossing the mints to the crowds was a big thrill for the kids. The event demonstrated the excellent partnership between Cape May Elementary School and the City of Cape May.
