Kudos to Good Samaritan

 To the editor:

I feel the need to share with you and the Cape May Gazette, photographs of an individual who was participating and running in the Cape May Point five mile run.

During the five mile run, an individual fell ill and needed immediate CPR. Darlene Deamer, who was running, stopped and immediately administrated CPR until the EMT’s arrived. Afterwards, she continued the five mile run.

Ms. Deamer gave me permission to forward her name and photograph just as long as I mention how important it is to know CPR.
