Police blotter information is provided by local and other law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

For the two-week period ending Jan. 29, the Longport Police Department responded to nine 911 emergency calls, six alarm calls and seven ambulance calls. They conducted 64 motor vehicle stops, issued two parking violations and made one arrest.

Robert Julia Jr., 25, of Laurel Springs was arrested Feb. 6 by Ptl. Jason Parratt during a motor vehicle stop and taken into custody for giving a false name and having multiple outstanding warrants. He was issued summonses for expired inspection, seat belt violation and driving while suspended. He was transported to the Atlantic County Sheriff's Department.
