The Margate Police Department answered 289 calls for service in the period ending Feb. 13. The calls included 25 motor vehicle stops, 30 alarms and two motor vehicle crashes. There were two warrant arrests.

William Hipple, 32, of Ventnor was arrested Feb. 14 by Sgt. Fred Felicano and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on recognizance.

Richard Taylor, 29, of Ocean City was arrested Feb. 16 by Ptl. James Costa and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. He was released on recognizance.
