VENTNOR – Scout Clothing and Décor hosted its first Coffee House Music Afternoon Friday, June 1 at 5301 Atlantic Ave. in Ventnor.
Indie-folk singer Rebecca Nell of Somers Point and her father Bob Naumchik of Galloway performed on the sidewalk as guests enjoyed free coffee, sweets and 15 percent off items in the store.
According to store owner Hanna Sinderbrand, Scout is hoping to have live music every other Friday throughout the summer. She said local artists are encouraged to stop by and show off their talents.
The next coffee house afternoon will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 15 featuring the sounds of singer Senni Bloom of Ventnor. See www.scoutclothinganddecor.com.
