More than 250 people helped raise more than $50,000 to benefit Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May counties at the sixth annual “Karats for a Cause” Thursday, Feb. 7. The funds will be used to benefit children and family services at JFS as well as Sandy recovery efforts.

Lisa and Mark Lippman and Farah and Michael Burns co-chaired the event, which took place at Atlantic Grill in Caesars Atlantic City. The “Karats for a Cause” committee recognized Atlantic City Linen Supply as its outstanding business, and Portia Parto of Margate as its outstanding volunteer with an honoree toast and award presentation.
