Ventnor students to play with All South Jersey Band

Six students will represent Ventnor Middle School Sunday, March 3 in the All South Jersey Band concert 3 p.m. at Fernwood Avenue Middle School in Egg Harbor Township. The young musicians successfully auditioned in January with students from 78 middle schools in eight counties. The Ventnor musicians are, sitting from left, James Craig and Kenny Maldonado, both 13; and, standing, Katie Shelley, 12, Damian Hankins, 12, Colton Salomon-Lowden, 14, and Kevin Velazquez, 13. Band leader and instrumental teacher Joe Jacobs offered his congratulations.
