Margate police seek suspects in armed robbery

MARGATE – Margate police have released the sketch of one of two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Monday afternoon, Dec. 2 along the unit south block of Haverford Avenue. 

Two young white males on bicycles approached the victim from behind.  The males began speaking to the victim and during the conversation displayed a weapon and demanded the victim empty his pockets, according to the incident report compiled by police. 

The victim complied and the males fled the scene on bicycles, first heading north to Ventnor Avenue, then heading west toward Longport when the victim lost sight of them. The initial report came in to police at 3:21 p.m. Monday.
