In response to the current conflict in the Middle East, the Jewish Community Center, 501 N. Jerome Ave., is coordinating a community-wide “Stand With Israel Solidarity March of Song and Ruach” 3-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 29.

The program will begin at the JCC courtyard at 3 p.m. sharp and participants will march down Jerome Avenue, around the Margate recreation fields and return to the JCC courtyard where former Israel Defense Force soldiers will lead the group in for Israel-centric songs, ruach and more. Participants are asked to bring Israeli and American flags and signs. The event is for all ages and will be held rain or shine.

Approximately 450 campers at the JCC Camp By The Sea will participate wearing blue and white apparel to celebrate Israel Day on July 29. Camp parents are asked to participate, along with members of the community who stand in solidarity with Israel during the current conflict.
