MARGATE – The Milton and Betty Katz Jewish Community Center held a march Tuesday, July 29 in solidarity with Israel during the current conflict in the Middle East.

More than 500 people of all ages gathered in the courtyard at the center on Jerome Avenue and marched through the city’s athletic facility and through the adjoining streets chanting and singing songs of Jewish culture and religion. They returned to the courtyard where children played on a bouncy ride and teens sang and danced to Israeli music. They waved Israeli and American flags throughout the program.
