EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP- From crafting and shopping to stargazing and holiday-themed events, the many events scheduled around the township this weekend should offer something for everyone. Details on each are below:
Public skywatch
The South Jersey Astronomy Club will host a public skywatch 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 on the lawn of the Egg Harbor Township branch of the Atlantic County Library. Open to all ages. Call (609) 927-8664.
Township craft show
The third annual Holiday Craft Show will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the township Community Center, 5045 English Creek Ave. Free parking and free admission. Santa will visit for photos 1-3 p.m. Vendor applications are available at www.ehtgov.org.
Thanksgiving craft
The Egg Harbor Township branch of the Atlantic County Library will present a Thanksgiving craft workshop 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 for children ages 6-11. Registration required. Call (609) 927-8664.
Santa arrives Saturday
Santa arrives with an indoor parade at the Shore Mall 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 in the commons area across from the Children’s Museum. Before he arrives, a special performance by the Give and Take Jugglers will be held. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the jugglers’ show, which features a three-person circus, aerial fabric, trapeze and tight wire as well as comedy. Santa will be available for pictures and photo packages will be available for purchase. Contact (609) 484-0232.
