EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP- This weekend no one should be caught saying that they are bored. From a regional home show to live music or belly dancers, and from a self-esteem workshop to kids puppet show and bowling fundraisers, it should be a busy weekend around the township. Details on each are below:

Home Show

South Jersey Spring Home Show Expo 5-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Feb. 22-24 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church rental facility, 7004 Ridge Ave., Egg Harbor Township. Exhibits, displays, food, free shopping bags and giveaways, home-based business ideas and consumer seminars. Purchase two for one e-tickets for $6. Restaurant grand opening

Kings Lounge is holding a grand opening celebration Friday, Feb. 22 from 5 p.m. to midnight. It is located at 6415 Delilah Road.  Appetizer specials, 5-7 p.m. Belly dancers 9-11 p.m., DJ all night. Call (609) 383-8200. Reservations and walk-ins welcome.

Mystery Dessert Theater

Ocean Heights Presbyterian Church, 2116 Ocean Heights Ave., is hosting mystery dessert theater 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22. A local drama troupe will present an interactive murder mystery titled, “The Dinner Death Test.” Guests will get to interview the characters and try to predict the outcome while they enjoy desserts. Self-Esteem workshop

Egg Harbor Township High School Family Career and Community Leaders of America will be hosting a self-esteem workshop on Feburary 23, 2013 from 9-11 am in the Egg Harbor Township High School Cafeteria. There will be confidence building activities, a puppet show by Justin Hlifka and a special presentation by author and composer Joan Buzwick. Joan wrote the book "What Went Right Today". This is a community wide event for chidren grades one to three. There will be an opportunity to meet the author and purchase her book.

Scholarship fund dinner

The annual Remembering Jamie Foundation Italian Night dinner will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Egg Harbor Township Elks Lodge, Somers Point-Mays Landing Road. A Chinese auction is planned. Dinner is $12, $5 for children. Tickets available at the door or from Remembering Jamie Foundation, P.O. Box 370, Somers Point, NJ 08244. Enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Bowling fundraiser

Community Quest’s third annual Good Neighbor Bowling Fundraiser is scheduled for 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at King Pin Lanes. Create a team or register as a single/double and join with other players. Choose from one of two sessions: 3-6 p.m. or 7-10 p.m. Entry fee is $25; children 10 and under pay $15 with each paying adult. Includes up to three games of bowling, shoes, food and a chance to win prizes by participating in our pay-to-play Color Pin Contest and the Beat the Pro Contest. Fundraiser for EHT schools

The Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools Inc. is hosting its annual “fun-raiser,” at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Atlantic City Country Club, 900 Shore Road, Northfield. The event will feature one hour open bar and hors d’oevres, a buffet dinner, music by Bobby Campanell, former leader and cofounder of “The Shakes,” dancing and dessert. The 2012 People of the Year will also be recognized. Tickets are $75. Proceeds go toward the township’s schools. Bowling fundraiser for EHTHS track

The Egg Harbor Township boys track and field team is hosting a bowling day fundraiser 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 at King Pin Lanes, 6622 Black Horse Pike. Admission is $20 for three games and shoes, a meal and a drink, and a whole lot of fun with the team and coaches. Tickets are $15 for non-high school students and children.
