EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – Atlantic Christian School, 391 Zion Road, will host its fourth large-scale consignment sale of children’s clothes and other items 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 23. The sale will focus on spring and summer items.
The sale is a fundraiser for the school and its sister school, Salem County Christian School, but event organizer Corie Taylor said the schools are not the only beneficiaries.
“No matter how you look at it, you’re giving to a good cause,” she said. “You are helping the community and the economy by buying from the consigners; you are helping our school or the other school; and all leftover items are donated to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.”
Consigners register in advance to sell furniture, clothing for babies, children and teens, electronics, toys and more. The sale is expected to draw as many as 500 shoppers.
Kids 2 Teens Resale, operated by the Salem County Christian School, handles the sale and supplies racks and other items needed to display the clothing in a neat, professional and attractive way, she said.
All items are in like-new condition or better, according to Taylor.
"If there is an item with a stain or a hole, it gets tossed back into that consigner’s box," she said.
Credit cards and cash accepted as payment. Call (877) 675-7222, ext. 104.
