The following Egg Harbor Township employees were recognized by the police department for their efforts in maintaining a safe work environment:

Sgt. Marc Romantino for his driver safety and seatbelt awareness initiatives, Detective Ray Theriault for his efforts in procuring a downdraft station in the evidence processing area to eliminate harmful contaminants, records clerk Stephanie Sharpe for recognizing and reporting hazardous conditions, dispatcher Bryan Gaviria for providing life-saving instructions to the parent of a choking child, and public works employee Norman Splatt for consistently ensuring that proper safety equipment is utilized.

Each employee received a $15 Wawa gift card in appreciation of their efforts.
