Township hires three new police officers, promotes others

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – Three new police officers were sworn in on Wednesday, June 20 during the Township Committee meeting. The hires are Matthew Hahn, Michael O’Hagen and Michael Keeping.
The new hires were welcomed to the force by Officers Katrina Cantell, John Beattes and Brett Fair, who graduated from the Atlantic County Police Academy on Friday, June 22. During the meeting, Raymond Davis was promoted to captain, David Algeri and Michael Steinman were promoted to lieutenant and Gary Rzemyk was elevated to sergeant. Sharon Woolbert was also officially promoted to records supervisor, after serving in the role in an interim capacity for two years.
