District announces back to school details, dates

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The school district is gearing up for the year and just released details on start dates and times, lunch costs, testing dates and other important information. Below is a breakdown of the details relevant for each school as well as district-wide information:
District
First day of school: Wednesday, Sept. 5, full day
Transportation: Questions on busing? Call Transportation Department at (609) 927-2443. If children need to be transported to a location other than home, parents may fill out a “babysitting form."
Emergency Closings: The home phone number of each student will receive a phone call from the superintendent announcing school closings as needed. Information will also be posted on the bulletin board of EHT-TV, Channel 2 and on the Parent Portal on the district website. Closing announcements will be made on local radio stations WFPG 1450 AM, WMID 1340 AM and WOND 1400, and on television stations NBC40, Channel 6 and Channel 10.
KidsKlub Child Care: Before and after school child care available for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Call school principal or Jeanette Sharpe, Community Education Coordinator, at (609) 646-8441, ext. 1021.
