The Egg Harbor Township Fire Department responded to the following calls Aug. 3-23:

Friday, Aug. 3:

The Farmington and Cardiff Volunteer Fire Companies responded to a motor vehicle crash at 6:40 a.m. on Fire Road in front of the Atlantic City Electric Co. The crash involved an overturned utility truck. Firefighters were on location for two hours.

Monday, Aug. 6:

The Farmington and Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Companies responded to milepost 35 northbound on the Garden State Parkway to assist the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad with a motor vehicle crash. Firefighters were on location for one hour.

At 8:23 a.m. the Cardiff and Farmington Volunteer Fire Companies responded to milepost 9.1 eastbound on the Atlantic City Expressway to assist the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare EMS in extricating the victim of a motor vehicle crash. The incident required the additional response of firefighters from the Atlantic City International Airport Fire Department and the Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Company.

Wednesday, Aug. 15:

The Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Company responded to the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Mill Road to assist the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad with a three-vehicle motor vehicle crash. Firefighters were on location for one hour.

Thursday, Aug. 16:

The Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Company responded at 1:30 a.m. to Fire Road in front of N.J. American Water Company to assist the police department and the ambulance squad with a motor vehicle crash. Firefighters were on location for one hour.

Friday, Aug. 17

The Farmington Volunteer Fire Company responded to Wescott Road near the Absecon border to assist the police department and the ambulance squad with a motor vehicle crash. Firefighters were on location for two hours.

Saturday, Aug. 18

The Scullville Volunteer Fire Company responded to English Creek Avenue to assist the police department and the ambulance squad with a motor vehicle crash. Firefighters were on location for one hour.

Thursday, Aug. 23

The Cardiff and Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Companies, along with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service responded to 125 Pine Avenue at 3:07 p.m. for a brush fire. Firefighters were on location for one hour.
