Mormon volunteers available to help storm victims

Volunteers representing the Mormon Helping Hands program are in the area and available to assist residents with clean up and recovery efforts, especially seniors and those with special needs who may not know where to turn for help, according to Atlantic County spokeswoman Linda Gilmore.

The Mormon Helping Hands program is a nationwide effort that brings together members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their neighbors to provide community service to those who have been affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.
