EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – Police arrested three people during early morning raids Wednesday, Nov. 14 in a move to target drug trafficking here and in Pleasantville, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain said.

Police also seized drugs and cash, he said.

Members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Unit, Atlantic County SWAT, and the Egg Harbor Township and Pleasantville police departments simultaneously executed two search warrants. Those warrants were executed at a 128 East London Court residence in Egg Harbor Township and at Pushin Ink Tattoo Parlor, 11 N. Main St. in Pleasantville.

Anthony Robinson, 33, and Jessica Munn, 36, both of Egg Harbor Township, and David Taliaferro, 29, of Hamilton Township, were all arrested at the Egg Harbor Township residence, McClain said.

There police located and seized as evidence a loaded Ruger 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, 480 packets of heroin, drug paraphernalia, about 200 Oxycontin pills, $250 in cash and blank prescription notes.

Police also impounded a 2000 Mercedes sedan as evidence.

Robinson was charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy and possession of handgun. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $300,000 cash bail.

Police charged Munn with possession of heroin and Oxycontin, possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy and possession of a handgun. She was also lodged on $300,000 cash bail.

Taliaferro was charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy. He was lodged on $100,000 cash bail.

At the Pushin Ink Tattoo Parlor in Pleasantville, the business’ licenses to operate were seized as evidence.

This operation is the culmination of a three-month cooperative investigation into a large drug trafficking ring operating in Pleasantville and Egg Harbor Township, McClain said.

The public is encouraged to assist in the efforts of combating, reducing and dismantling narcotics and firearm distribution networks within the county by sharing information with law enforcement, he said.
