Genuardi’s last gasp

Genuardi’s Supermarket, located on Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township, is almost empty Monday, Dec. 10 as the store prepares for its final day of operation. Almost everything in the store is marked 30 percent off with some items as much as 50 percent off. In this picture, the meat cases are bare as Shaun Smith explores what has become of the once bustling business. The store will close its doors for the last time at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
