Police: Fire at EHTYO set by two youths

Egg Harbor Township Police Department has identified the two children, under the age of fourteen, responsible for setting the Nov. 21 fire that at the Egg Harbor Township Youth Organization concession stand in Veteran’s Park.

According to information released by police Wednesday, Dec. 12, Detective Sgt. Fred Spano has been in communication with the parents of the accused, as well as representatives from the EHTYO, in an effort to enroll the children in diversionary programs. The case was investigated by Spano and Detectives Patricia DiMarco and Cherie Burgan. The police department thanks those involved in the investigation for their cooperation and patience.
