EHT Environmental Commission report- January

The members of the Egg Harbor Township Environmental Commission issued the following report from its Jan. 9 meeting. The following applications were reviewed:
Fire's BBQ, 6696 Black Horse Pike
The plan would convert an existing service station into a restaurant. The commission recommended requiring an audit for environmental hazards and landscaping around building and perimeter.
50 English Lane
The commission recommended asking the applicants to show wetlands buffer and not allowing unpermitted work within buffer. It also said the plans should show limits of clearing and the existing vegetation as well as preserve specimen trees.
3089 English Creek Lane
The commission decided not to comment on a proposed cell tower along Dogwood Avenue near English Creek Avenue.
Regent Realty 200 W. Parkway Drive
The applicant wants to expand a parking area. The commission recommends increasing landscaping to mitigate clear cutting of the proposed basin area. It also says the applicant should landscape around the basin.
