Police: West Atlantic City residents need to watch for flood waters

High tide at Lakes Bay area expected at 6:54 p.m.
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP - The Egg Harbor Township Police Department issued a special statement to the residents who live along Lakes Bay in the West Atlantic City section of the township with regard to the potential flooding that could occur this evening from the nor'easter underway. Read the message below:
"A flood advisory is issued for the West Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township due to the impending storm," the department posted on its Facebook page.
"Please pay special attention to the local weather forecasts and move any vehicles out of flood prone areas. High tide is expected at 6:54pm for the Lakes Bay area."
