Slaybaugh Elementary School teachers Bonnie Mattern’s and Michele McGinnis’s third-grade classes participated in a NASA distance learning event, “Our Solar Neighborhood,” on Monday, Feb. 11 in the media center. Students interacted with instructor Michael Hare from the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Students and faculty enjoyed learning about the solar system through this interactive presentation.
