Teachers, staff, and their family members from the C. J. Davenport Primary and Elementary schools took time out of their long weekend in honor of a cause close to their hearts. For the fourth consecutive year, “Team Davenport-EHT” participated in the annual Polar Bear Run/Walk for Autism Sunday, Feb. 17 in Sea Isle City. More than 50 people were part of “Team Davenport-EHT” this year, which raised more than $1,000 for the cause. The C.J. Davenport School Complex houses five of the seven MD/autism classrooms located within the Egg Harbor Township School District. The run/walk helped to generate funds for autism research, awareness, advocacy, and family services.
