The following events or locations have announced cancellations and closures for Wednesday, March 6:
Egg Harbor Township Special Education Resource Group- meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to the weather. The group's guest speaker Assistant Superintendent Kim Gruccio will present at the next meeting.
Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League U-11 Boys Lacrosse team meeting scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m. has been cancelled. The new date for the U-11 meeting will be before practice on Tuesday, March 12.
Atlantic Cape Community College campuses will close at 5 p.m for evening classes and activities. Visitwww.atlantic.edu for updates. If the college will be closed Thursday, March 7, a decision will be communicated early in the morning. Further developments will be shared via text alert, the college website and social media sites.
The Humane Society of Atlantic County has reported that its phone lines are not working.
Ventnor Home and School Association meeting has been cancelled. It is rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13
Shore Medical Center Auxiliary Gift Shop midnight sale is cancelled due to the weather. The staff stated that the Midnight Sale will return soon, and as soon as a date is announced we'll post it on its website.
Open mic night at Caroline’s in Somers Point has been cancelled. The restaurant has lost power.
