EHT police searching for 3 males and vehicle in burglary case

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – Egg Harbor Township Police are asking the public’s help in locating individuals wanted in connection with a residential burglary along the 5000 block of Tremont Avenue on Sunday, April 20.

 According to police three males were travelling in a beige Ford Explorer, of a model made between 1995 to 2001, with “aftermarket” wheels. The driver backed into the driveway and remained in the vehicle, while two others exited. They entered the home through the front door and carried out a deposit safe, which police said contained a substantial amount of cash in mostly $100 or $50 bills. The safe is described as a AMSEC brand top-loading deposit safe with dual control key lock, standing about 36 inches tall and about 14 inches square.

 The driver was described as a black male wearing a baseball cap with a hand towel draped over his hat, which covered most of his face. His approximate age was unknown. 

 The males who carried the safe were described as black in their mid 20s.

 The first male was further described as approximately 6-feet tall, of medium build, light skinned with corn rows or dread locks that were pulled back. He was wearing a white t-shirt and sweat pants.

The second male was further described as 5-foot, 5-inches to 5-foot, 6-inches tall, short hair, mustache with goatee and wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans.
