The Blake Shelton concert on Thursday, July 31 and the Lady Antebellum concert on Sunday, Aug. 3 will be held on the Atlantic City beach between Caesar’s Pier at Arkansas Avenue and Central Pier at St. James Place.

 The following information was supplied by event organizers:

-          Everyone attending will need a ticket.

-          The beach location will open at 10 a.m. and will not be accessible until that time;

-          General admission ticketholders will enter at the Kentucky Avenue beach access. All other beach access points between Arkansas Avenue and St. James Place will be closed off and secured. There will be a security search;

-          There will be a wheelchair accessible entrance at the Bally’s Beach Bar boardwalk entrance near Michigan Avenue;

-          Hand stamps will be issued at entry to permit exit and re-entry. This will occur only at Kentucky Avenue. Wrist banding will be in place for those seeking to purchase alcoholic beverages;

-          Beverages, limited food options and merchandise will be available for sale at the concert site on the beach;

-          A medical station will be located at Martin Luther King Boulevard;

-          The Atlantic City Beach Patrol lifeguards will be staffing the beaches for safety;

-          All lost children and adults will be taken to the lifeguard station at Michigan Avenue; and

-          Unattended items will be removed.

Items allowed at concert site include beach umbrellas, which must be taken down at 3 p.m., beach towels, sand chairs no higher than 9 inches from ground, small soft-sided coolers, non-professional cameras, non-framed backpacks and bags and prescription medicine with proper identification. Attendees are also encouraged to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hats, government-issued photo identification with proof of age, cash or debit and credit cards for purchases and water. Water will be available for purchase as well.

 Items that are not permitted include large, hard-surface coolers, beach blankets, high-back chairs and loungers, glass bottles and containers, alcohol, tents or structures, flags, animals, bikes and other similar devices, squirt guns or other toys that resemble a weapon, actual weapons, strollers, illegal drugs or paraphernalia, fireworks or sparklers, professional cameras and cooking devices of any kind.
