EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – A Galloway woman was charged with endangering the welfare of her child and drug offenses after police found heroin and hypodermic needles the same car as her 5-month-old son.

Brianna Ross, 25, was arrested after police responded to a call around 11:17 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, in which the caller claimed a woman was possibly under the influence of drugs while parked at the English Creek Center in the Cardiff section of the township.

Officers James Naylor and Alekhine Pahang determined that Ross allegedly had been using the drugs while her son was in the car. The boy was checked by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance squad and appeared to be in good health.

Bail was set by Municipal Court Judge William Cappuccio at $30,000 full cash, and Ross was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency took custody of the child.
