80 bags of heroin found in Egg Harbor Township traffic stop

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – Two men were arrested after police found 80 bags of heroin in a vehicle during a traffic stop in the Country Place Condominiums in the Cardiff section of the township on Monday, Aug. 11.

Gregory May, 33, of Pleasantville and Joshua Painter, 37, of Egg Harbor Township were charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and other related drug charges after Egg Harbor Township Police Officer Tim Colella found drugs in the vehicle driven by May around 9:43 a.m.  

The vehicle was towed to the department where further investigation located 80 bags of heroin.

Painter, the vehicle’s owner, was released on a summons with a court date to appear.

This case was investigated by Detective Scott Hiltner of the Egg Harbor Township Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau.
