Fernwood crowns spelling bee winners

The 2013 Fernwood Avenue Middle School Spelling Bee was held on Thursday, Jan. 31 with 67 student spellers participating. The champion, seventh-grader Beth Ann Castellano, is eligible to compete in the South Jersey Spelling Bee at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at the Galloway Township Middle School. The Scripps National Spelling Bee is scheduled for May 26-June 1, 2013, in Washington, D.C.
