Historic Cold Spring Village will present is annual Antique and Folk Arts Show and Sale this weekend. The show runs 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7 and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 8.

For the past 27 years, antiques dealers from across the Mid-Atlantic region have gathered along Historic Cold Spring Village’s shaded, clamshell lanes to display and sell their wares.

The village’s restored historic buildings, which date from 1691 to 1912, will be open with historical interpretations and demonstrations of the trades and crafts from the mid-1800s.

Featured items at the show will include country and Victorian furniture, silver, ephemera, glass, linens and textiles, pottery, primitives, toys, books, Americana and more.

New this year is the Needle Arts Coop, a learning center featuring interactive lessons and information on handmade crafts and skills. Take-home kits and supplies are available for purchase along with specialty items made by local and village artisans.

The Country Store will also be open, featuring a selection of handmade artisan wares, heritage toys, books, preserves and more.

At 2 p.m. Saturday, visitors will be treated to Pinelands bluegrass from the Piney Hollow Drifters.

Historic Cold Spring Village is a nonprofit, open air living history museum that portrays the daily life of a rural South Jersey community of the Early American period. It features 26 restored historic structures on a wooded 30-acre site. From late June to early September, interpreters and artisans in period clothing preserve the trades, crafts and heritage of “The Age of Homespun.”

Special events are held each weekend at the village through mid-September. Fun and educational activities for children are featured Tuesday through Sunday from late June through Labor Day.

Historic Cold Spring Village is on Route 9 three miles north of Cape May. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for children ages 3-12 and free for children under 3.
