Storm Front brings the piano man’s music to the shore

The Billy Joel tribute band Storm Front will return to the stage 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at Centennial Park as part of the Wildwood Crest free summer music series.

Fronted by singer-pianist Mike O’Brien, Storm Front plays songs from Billy Joel’s vast musical catalog, including hits such as “Movin’ Out,” “My Life,” “It’s Still Rock ’n’ Roll to Me,” “Piano Man” and “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant.”

The show is free and suitable for all ages. Bringing a blanket or chair is recommended.

Centennial Park is at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue. Free parking for the show is available at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.

The park Park hosts free live music performances every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday through Sept. 3.

During all Wednesday and Saturday shows, the park also features a miniature train arrangement in the southwest corner.
