Bayfest coming to Somers Point April 26

bayfest  SOMERS POINT  Bayfest will occupy 14 blocks along Bay Avenue with music, food, crafters and family activities 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 26, rain or shine.

Somers Point is expecting more than 30,000 people to flock to Bay Avenue this year for four live bands, 38 food vendors and more than 120 crafters, as well as 15 children’s activities.

The Somers Point Bayfest first started 25 years ago as an Earth Day celebration, and it still maintains that tradition by hosting environmental groups. 

“Not only does Bayfest educate the public but it also gives back to the community,” reads a statement from the city. “Profits from the festival help to fund projects that enhance and benefit the city of Somers Point.”

Parking will be available at the Jordan Road School, 129 Jordan Road and Fire House 1 at 1 Bethel Road.
