Located a few hours’ ride or less from the major cities of Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., the rally brings thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to town on their bikes for a day or a weekend of music, shopping, riding, tattooing and other activities.

Billed as the largest free motorcycle rally in the northeast, the rally will feature loads of free live entertainment, motorcycle vendors, food and merchandise vendors and related events all weekend.

Visitors can stroll through hundreds of national vendors set up at five separate vending lots peddling everything from cigars to leather to jewelry to motorcycles.

Roar to the Shore will also include events such as a guided ride to Kindle Ford for a pig roast, a free Walking Poker Run, the annual Biker Babe Contest, a Rubber Duck Boardwalk Ride, a Harley Davidson motorcycle giveaway, the Battle of the Biker Bands semifinals and finals, and a Custom Boardwalk Bike Show.

New this year will be the inaugural Bike Lights Show, to be held 7:45-9:45 p.m. Friday on Pacific Avenue between Oak and Schellenger avenues. Bikers with their rides decked in LED lights will compete for trophies that will be awarded in seven categories. The registration fee is $25, and all bikes entered will also be eligible to win best in show. The awards ceremony will be held 10 p.m. at the main lot stage.

Vendor areas will be open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

The vendor areas will be located in the Wildwoods Convention Center parking lots as well as Oak and Atlantic avenues in Wildwood.
