Fall art winners announced

GALLOWAY – The Galloway Cultural Arts Center has announced winners of its Autumn Splendor show.
In watercolors, first place went to Monica Kurtz for “The Moorehouse Barn.” Second place went to Peggy Tompkins for “Special Places,” and third place was won by Carol Skiles for “In the Pink.”
“Faunce Creek” took first place in oil/acrylics for Leion Wescoat. Rose Ann Duchanovic’s “On The Fence” was second, and third place went to “Spread Your Wings” by Doris Johnson.
John Shields took first place in photography with “The Beginning.” Second place was won by Noelle Thorne’s “Spring,” and third place went to Dennis Loughlin’s “Snowy Day at Smithville.”
The exhibition ends Saturday, March 16 at the Galloway branch of the Atlantic County Library behind the Municipal Complex on Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway. It is open during normal library business hours.
