PORT REPUBLIC – There will be a viewing and funeral service Saturday, Feb. 11 for Gregg Martin Giberson, the son of Mayor Gary Giberson, who died unexpectedly last week.

Giberson, 43, of Mays Landing was a 1987 graduate of Absegami High School where he excelled in wrestling.

He was a member of Carpenter’s Local 255.

He loved to work out, hunt, fish, spend time with his family, volunteer at the local food bank and listen to Johnny Cash.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Giberson; father, Gary Giberson (Niki); sisters Lynn, Amy Plew (Jared), Megan Benson (Justin), and Robin Lawrenz (Jason); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 118 Main St., Port Republic, with a service to follow at 1 p.m. For condolences, see wimbergfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations are suggested to churches or charities.
