GALLOWAY – State Sen. Christopher J. Connors and Assembly members Brian E. Rumpf and DiAnne C. Gove will hold a Meet Your Legislators event 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 to hear from Galloway and Port Republic constituents .

Both towns became part of their 9th Legislative District following last year’s redistricting.

“The purpose of this event is to provide our delegation with the opportunity to meet and speak with our new constituents,” the three Republican lawmakers said in a statement.   “To more effectively represent our district, we have always actively solicited input from constituents on those issues most important to them.

“We fully recognize there are issues unique to Galloway and Port Republic that our delegation would like to have a better understanding of from the perspective of local residents,” they said. “We would also like to provide an overview of the constituent service work done at our district office, which continues to be a hallmark of our representative efforts.”

The event will be held in the Galloway Municipal Complex.
