The daughter of Rita and Brian Tsui is the recording secretary for the Student Council, taking note of things like who makes motions and who seconds them at their meetings.
“Then I have two days to distribute the minutes so every student and teacher is aware of what’s going on,” Tsui said at the meeting.
Tsui described herself as an A and B-plus student.
Asked about her favorite subject, she said, “I like them all.”
Settling on math, she said she is in advanced geometry. Tsui is also in advanced language arts – learning Spanish.
In addition to Student Council, she plays flute in the school band and plays piano. Her favorite piece is “Rondo Capriccioso” by Felix Mendelssohn.
“I used to take martial arts,” Tsui said. “I stopped at brown belt. I was one step away from a black belt.”
