Galloway Police Blotter for Edition of Aug. 9, 2012

Police Blotter information is supplied by local police departments and other law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

During the week July 23-29 Galloway police answered 813 calls. Officers made a total of 41 arrests, and issued 83 traffic summonses including five charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 22 motor vehicle accidents, 17 domestic complaints, 89 medical assists and 17 fire calls.

Sanongsac Sounthavong, 44, of Galloway was arrested July 24 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.
Kamaria Douglas, 23, of Brentwood, Md. was arrested July 25 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Andrew L. Dixon, Jr., 25, of Egg Harbor City was arrested July 25 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

James L. Dontez, 29, of Pleasantville, was arrested July 25 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with assault by auto, following a hit and run accident. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on an outstanding warrant.

Glenn Stucker, 39, of Hamilton Township was arrested July 28 by Ptl. Steven Garrison and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Keith E. Creato, 33, of Galloway was arrested July 28 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Kimberly M. Dahm, 27, of Pleasantville, was arrested July 28 by Ptl. Stephen Vernon and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and a hypodermic needle. She was released on a summons.

Diane Donelan, 51, and Nike Howard, 47, both of Galloway, were arrested July 28 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau. Donelan was charged with two counts each of resisting arrest by fleeing and obstruction. Her bail was set by Judge Howard Freed at $10,000. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing. Howard was charged with hindering apprehension and released on a summons. Officer Gorneau observed a motorcycle lying on ground in front of the 5th Avenue Wawa. A driver and passenger reported they were struck in the rear as they were pulling out of the Wawa. Both reported that the involved vehicle - a 2011 black Toyota Corolla - fled the scene. Sgt. Donna Higbee located the vehicle a short distance away on Magnolia Avenue, arriving at a residence. The vehicle pulled into the garage and the door was closing as police arrived. Police received no response at the door. Entry to the home was gained and both of the above were taken into custody. Donelan was additionally charged in connection with the accident and issued summons and charged with driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and careless driving.

Shirley Kay, 59, of Galloway was arrested July 29 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Stacey L. Cox, 31, and Davis E. Cox, Jr., of Galloway were arrested July 29 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. They were released on summonses.

Burglary Report
A burglary was reported to a building July 28 on Colonial Court.
