Sign greets Absegami High School students with the New Year spirit.

Absegami High School welcomed back students in festive style on the first day of school Tuesday, Sept. 4 as teachers donned New Year’s hats and noisemakers as the students entered the building, bringing smiles to their faces.

Absegami High School principal Jeri-Lynn Gatto says she’s looking forward to an exciting, productive New (school) Year.
