Dr. Timothy Slaven

Dr. Timothy Slaven joins AtlantiCare staff

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center recently welcomed Dr. Timothy Slaven of Barnegat Light to its Medical Staff. He practices at AtlantiCare Physician Group Cardiology, 712 East Bay Ave., Manahawkin, and 219 N. White Horse Pike, Hammonton.

Slaven, who joins the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, specializes in treating arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure, coronary artery and valvular heart disease. His areas of expertise include echocardiograms, exercise and nuclear stress testing, Holter monitor studies and pacemaker monitoring.

Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, Slaven earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Downers Grove, Ill. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Midwestern University, Olympia Fields, Ill.

Slaven is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Cardiology and American Medical Association, and is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.

Jonathan Bybee graduates basic training

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Jonathan D. Bybee graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Bybee is the son of Steven Bybee of Hamilton Township.
He is a 2002 graduate of Absegami High School, Galloway. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2007 from Richard Stockton College.

Kara M. Hoffman graduates from basic

Air Force Airman Kara M. Hoffman graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

She completed an intensive, eight-week program.   

Fore completing basic training, she earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Hoffman is the daughter of Colleen Hoffman of Galloway and granddaughter of Angelo Genova of Northfield.

She is a 2009 graduate of Holy Spirit High School.
