Hitesh Shah joins Shore medical staff
Dr. Hitesh Shah, of the Pomona section of the township, has joined the medical staff at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point with privileges in emergency medicine.
He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 2006 and completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Conn., in 2009.
Dr. Shah will practice at Bayfront Emergency Physicians in Somers Point.
Jainaj B. Shah graduates basic training
Army Pvt. Jainaj B. Shah has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
During the nine weeks of training, he studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies; Army history, core values and traditions; military courtesy; military justice; physical fitness; first aid; rifle marksmanship; weapons use; map reading and land navigation; foot marches; armed and unarmed combat; and field maneuvers and tactics.
Shah is the son of Bipin and Ilaxi Shah of Galloway and is a 2009 graduate of Absegami High School.
