Apples part of the core curriculum in Port

Fall is here and the kindergarten class at Port Republic School have been learning about the new season with a month of special activities. They learned that the leaves are changing, the apples are ripe, and they discovered the star and seeds inside when apples are cut. They have also been enjoying apple snacks. Port kindergarteners in front from left are Matthew Sterling, Madison Pirie, Mia Pirie, Kaitlyn Mindish, Lilly Strickland, Cole Turner, Rocco Delareto, Blair Morfitt and Emily Ross. Behind them are Bailey Kurtz, Michael Barile, Dominic Cross, Colin Rueckert, Chris Ropiecki and Ty Webb.
