The Absegami Class of 2012 set aside funds from its school activity account to provide holiday decorations as part of its senior class gift.
The decorations grace the atrium area of Absegami High School this holiday season, with festive wreaths, stairway pine roping, and poinsettias.
Marcy and Lenny Kantz of Galloway's South Jersey Florists, whose sons David and Stephen are both Absegami graduates, assisted with suggestions for the display and with the final hanging, as well as with giving the school some free wreaths.
"I believe it is gratifying to lift a student's spirits,” Principal Jeri-Lynn Gatto said. “School, in some small way, feels like home."
