GALLOWAY - Four people were injured in a two-car collision at Duerer Street and Mannheim Avenue Thursday, Dec. 6, according to police.

Two adults and two children were hurt in an accident involving a 2008 Cadillac CTS and a 2003 Chrysler Voyager, police said.

The drivers, Denice Flick, 35, and Stacy Hernandez, 23, both of Galloway, had to be extricated from their vehicles by the Pomona Volunteer Fire Company and Egg Harbor City Fire Department, police said.

Flick was treated and released at AtlantiCareRegionalMedicalCenter.

Hernandez remained hospitalized in fair condition Friday, according to the hospital.

Hernandez, driving the Chrysler, had two small children in the car with her, police said. She was traveling east on Duerer Street.

Flick's Cadillac heading south on Mannheim struck Hernandez’s van, police said.

All four occupants were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus trauma center by Galloway and Hamilton Township ambulance squads.

Summonses are pending, police said.

Germania volunteer firefighters, Absecon Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare medics also responded to the call which caused the intersection to be closed for an hour.
