Absegami: speaking of forensics winners

The Absegami High School Forensics Team had several individual winners at the Mainland Regional High School New Jersey Drama and Forensic League forensics tournament Saturday, Dec. 8.

Senior Erica Butterhof took second place in after dinner speaking and drama monologue and another senior, Kirsten Wimberg, finished second in persuasive speaking. 

Other award winners were junior Aaron Sartorio, who took second place for oral interpretation of song lyrics; sophomore Jess Schrading, who finished fifth in dramatic monologue and junior Josh Wescoat, who took fifth place in comedic monologue.  Absegami will host a forensics tournament Saturday, Jan. 5.
